Carolyn Jane Ebling

Carolyn J. Ebling, 63, of Hartford, Ky., passed away on Friday, October 1, 2010, at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born on March 2, 1947 in Tuscola, IL. She was a member of Bells Run Baptist Church and had served in the Air Force. She had been a truck driver for U. S. Xpress and enjoyed fishing, camping, and sewing. She was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Ebling in 1994.

Surviving are her mother, Joyce Ebling of Owensboro, her daughter, Joyce Downey of Granite City, IL, five grandchildren, Elaine Anderson, Crystal Meadows, and Leah Downey, all of Buford, S.C., Jolene and Tristin Downey, both of Hartford, a great grandchild, Annabelle Meadows of Buford, two sisters, Pat Nicholas and husband Madison and Sherry Parks, of Owensboro, and a brother, Loren Ebling of Hawesville.

Services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, October 4 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. Monday at the funeral home.
