Carole Lee Warner

Carole Lee Warner, 78, of Owensboro, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born on September 29, 1947, in Detroit, MI to the late Max Goose and Madeline Marie Dujnich.

Carole graduated in 1966 from Meadowdale High School in Dayton, Ohio where she grew up. She went on to live in California, Southern Ohio and Northern Kentucky. She worked for many years in the food and beverage industry and while doing so earned an associate of science degree.

She moved to Owensboro in August of 2019 to be near her son and grandchildren. Her greatest joy was simply spending time together as a family and playing with her grandchildren. She also built wonderful, lasting friendships with her neighbors at the Roosevelt House, creating a close-knit community there. To her family and friends alike, she was known as a selfless person, always an unwavering support to others.

Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Kevin Goose.

Surviving are her son, Jeremy Gibson and daughter-in-law Maria Rodenas Bosque; grandchildren, Lucas, Oliver, and Sofia Rodenas Gibson; a sister, Sheila Shnider; three nieces Melissa Kroth, Nicole Kelsey, and Stacey Shnider; and four great-nieces, three great-nephews, and three great-great-nephews.

A memorial service for Carole will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.
