Carol R. "Bob" Troutman, 87, of Owensboro, passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born September 12, 1928 in McLean Co. to the late Robert and Floy McEuen Troutman. Bob was retired from McEuen Furniture after 36 years and was a U. S. Army veteran during the Korean Conflict Era having been stationed at Fort Lewis in Washington State for two years. He was a member of First Christian Church and enjoyed Nascar racing, U.K. basketball, vegetable gardening, and especially spending time with his granddaughter. He was also preceded in death by a son-in-law, Tom Lockhart in 2011, and two brothers, Burnis Troutman in 1994 and J. P. Troutman in 2016.
Surviving are his wife of 65 years, Betty Ann Beane Troutman, his daughter, Pamela Lockhart of Owensboro, his granddaughter, Michelle Light and husband Joe of Owensboro, a sister, Edith Ashby of Livermore, and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Noon Saturday, August 13, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with burial following in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation is from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Friday and after 10:00 A.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
