Carol Ruxer, 69, of Owensboro, passed away Monday February 19, 2018 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born April 27, 1948 in Owensboro, to the late Francis Wathen and Edna Marie Weiss.
Carol was also preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Thomas Ruxer; a daughter, Carrie Lynn; a sister, Janet Wathen; and brothers, Billy Wathen and Frank Wathen.
She is survived by her sisters, Connie Fairchild and her husband, Wayne of Owensboro, Pat Edgell, and Joyce Sweeney and her husband, Randall of Owensboro; a step-daughter, Jennifer Lange and Delton Chorn, of Abilene, Texas; her nephew, Josh Fairchild and his wife Brandy, of Owensboro; and a host of great nieces and nephews.
A graveside memorial service will be 10 AM Thursday at St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery with Fr. Pat Bittel officiating. Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory has been entrusted with the arrangements.
