Carol M. Yungel King, 65, of Owensboro, died at home Tuesday, August 17, 2010, while surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 12, 1944 to the late Richard and Alice Biastre Yungel in Brooklyn, NY. She was a member of Sts. Joseph and Paul Catholic Church and enjoyed traveling, working crossword puzzles, cooking special meals for her family, gardening and was an avid SCUBA diver.

Survivors include her husband of 45 years, William King; her daughters, Heather King and her fiance Rob McGrew, Allison Johnson and her husband, Charlie, and Leslie King, all of Owensboro; eight grandchildren, Amanda Gauselman, Brandon Fantini, Will Johnson, Beth Johnson, Benjamin Johnson, Lindsay Roby, Mary Eaggleston, and Matthew Eaggleston; three great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Fantini, Katherine Gauselman, and Alexandra Gauselman; her brother, Roy Yungel and his wife, Arlene of Palm Harbor, FL; special friends, Tim and Nelda Brown of Utica.

Services will be 10:00 AM Friday, at Sts. Joseph and Paul Catholic Church with burial in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be 12:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday, with prayers at 7:00 PM, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory and after 8:30 AM Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Western Kentucky, 3419 Wathens Crossing, Owensboro, KY 42301.
