Carl Ray Miller, 22, of Owensboro passed away Saturday, February 24, 2007 at the Ohio County Hospital of natural causes. Born in Owensboro on November 10, 1984, he was a sales representative with Radio Shack; was a 2003 graduate of Owensboro High School; was a drummer for the Laid to Rest Band; and enjoyed playing the guitar, his X-Box, and drawing; and loved animals. He was preceded in death by his father, Glenn Ray Miller in 1986; grandfathers, Carl Edward Craft and Kenneth Eugene Miller; and a great-grandfather, Sherman Logsdon.
He is survived by his mother and step-father, Carla and Randall Johnston of Owensboro; his fiance, Krista Gay Hutchason of Owensboro; sisters, Susan Renee (and Alex) Buchanan of Glen Burnie, MD and Angela Debruler of Owensboro; a step-sister, Amber Lee Johnston of Owensboro; a step-brother, Randall Lynn Johnston of Owensboro; grandmothers, Peggy Craft and Leatha Miller of Owensboro; great-grandmothers, Louise Logsdon of Owensboro and Ruby Murphy of Maceo; aunts, Lisa (and Mike) Frantz and Donna (and David) Wayne of Owensboro; uncles, Vernon Miller, Gary (and Kay) Miller, and Kenneth (and Carolyn) Miller of Owensboro; nieces, Jasmin Renee Buchanan and Lexie Debruler; and step-nieces, Kyndall Johnston and Cali Johnston; and several cousins.
Services are 1 P.M. Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at Glenn Funeral Home with burial in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 1-8 P.M. Tuesday and after 9 A.M. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
