Carl Vernon Ezell, 89, of Owensboro, passed away March 10, 2015 at the Owensboro Center. He was born June 20, 1925 in Ohio County to the late John and Harriet Fraime Ezell. Carl was a graduate of Muhlenburg County High School. He served in the Army and was stationed in both Germany and France. After his time in the military, he served a career as a Deputy Sherriff and was a long time member of the Millwright Union. Carl enjoyed his beagle and loved spending time with his granddaughter and great-grandson.
Carl is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his children, Robert Ezell (Shelly), Vernon Ezell, Leslie Ezell (Janie), Dennis Ezell; grandchildren, Zack Ezell (Dora), Courtney Irvin, Jacob Ezell (Cassie), Lorre Nicole, Melissa Ezell, Xavier Maddox, and Jacob Stone.
Services will be 10AM Saturday March 21, 2015, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be 4-7 Friday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Owensboro Memorial Gardens.
