Camillia E. Nalley Baker, 84 of Owensboro passed away Friday, October 9, 2015 while in the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. Born in Daviess County on May 23, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Lester A. and Mary E. Beyke Nalley; was a member of Blessed Mother Catholic Church where she was active in the choir; and was retired from General Electric and MPD where she worked for 45 years. Mrs. Baker enjoyed quilting, crocheting, word search puzzles and NASCAR. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dempsey Lee "Painter" Baker in 2003; a grandson, Mike Raisor in 2015; siblings, Joseph (Mary Rita) Nalley, Ted (Irene) Nalley, Gertrude Nalley, Gene Nalley, Theresa Nalley, and Dorothy Bittel; and a brother-in-law, Ambrose Feller.
Surviving is a daughter, Judy (Ken) Patton of Owensboro; grandchildren; Todd Raisor of Owensboro and Jeff (Sarah) Patton of Utica; great-grandchildren, Brandon Lee Patton and Elizabeth Marie Patton; a brother, Robert G. (Joyce) Nalley of Owensboro; a sister, Wanda Feller of Louisville; and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass will be 12 Noon Monday at Blessed Mother Catholic Church with burial following in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Sorgho. Visitation will be from 2-6 p.m. on Sunday and after 9 a.m. on Monday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory where prayers will be said at 4 p.m. on Sunday.
