Buster Ray Brown

Buster Ray Brown, 82, of Owensboro, died November 21, 2006 at Harborside Healthcare. Born to the late Jesse Ray and Oney Mae Gower Brown, the Logan Co. native was of the Baptist faith and auto mechanic for Adters Automotive in Pontiac Michigan.

Those preceding him in death, besides his parents, include his wife, Mary Louise Head Brown, his sister, Edith Mae Chapman, and his brothers, Wilford Lee Brown and George Truman Brown.

Survivors include his sons and daughter-in-law, Larry R. Brown and David A. Brown, both of Owensboro, Michael Brown of Princeton, KY, and Gene R. and Marty Brown of Cadiz, KY, his daughters and son-in-law, Barbara Belson of Frisco, TX and Linda Sue and Steve Tanner of Euless, TX, his sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Joe Roberts of Owensboro, ten grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 25, 2006 at Glenn Funeral Home with Dr. Glenn Sowards officiating. Burial will be at a later date at Lakeview Cemetery in Clarkston, MI. Visitation will be Friday, November 24, 2006 from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice.
