Bruce W. Milne

October 22, 1933 — January 7, 2005

Bruce W. Milne, 71, of 2515 Spencer Drive, died Friday, January 7, 2005 at Owensboro Medical Health System as a result of injuries sustained in a traffic accident. Born in Owensboro, a son of the late Colin and Nina Whitehead Milne, he had been a partner in the former Milnes Greenhouse, a member of First Baptist Church, a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, and a fan of University of Kentucky basketball. He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Ross Milne, in 1991.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Mae Anna Milne, his son and daughter-in-law, Drs. Stephen and Ginger Milne of Nashville, and his brother, William Marshall Milne of Owensboro.

Services are at 1:00 p.m. Monday at Glenn Funeral Home, where visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Sunday and from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Science Building of Kentucky Wesleyan College or the American Lung Association. Contribution envelopes are available at the funeral home.
