Bruce Michael Howard

Bruce Michael Howard, 61, of Utica passed away Thursday, August 15, 2024, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. The Daviess County native was born December 8, 1962, as one of nine children to the late John Coy Howard and Mary Wedding Howard. Bruce graduated from Daviess County High School, class of 1984. He loved NASCAR and was a big Darrell Waltrip fan. Bruce not only enjoyed tractor pulls but participated in them. He had a great memory, never forgetting a face, and making everyone feel like they were his best friend. 

 In addition to his parents, Bruce also was preceded in death by his infant sister, Mary Ellen Howard and brother, Curtis Howard. 

 Those left to cherish his memory include six siblings, Joyce Murphy, Linda Kitchens, Dennis Howard, Rebecca Cheatham (Chuck), Kathy Atkins, and Alan Howard (Mary Anne) and a multitude of nieces and nephews. 

 The funeral service will be 10:00 am Monday, August 19 at St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church. Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00 until 6:00 pm with prayers at 5:30 pm and Monday from 8:30 until 9:30 am at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will be in St. Mary of the Woods Cemetery.
