Brody Lanham, 19, of LaGrange, Kentucky, and recently of Owensboro, Kentucky, died early Saturday morning, March 7, 2026. Brody graduated from Oldham County High School in 2024 and was working in construction, a job he loved. He took great pride in the skills he was learning and the work he was doing.
Brody had an incredible zest for life that was unmatched by most. He cherished a close group of friends and loved anything with wheels, including dirt bikes, four-wheelers, trucks, and mountain bikes. He simply enjoyed being in the woods and making trails. Exceptionally bright and naturally talented with his hands, Brody was able to fix almost anything. Friends, siblings, and adults alike sought him out for help, and he was always proud to grab his tools and do whatever he could to lend a hand. He was kind, passionate, and fiercely determined to live life to the fullest.
He is survived by his parents, Ted (Edward) and Jessica Lanham, and his mother, Rachelle Lanham; his sister, Molly Lanham; his brother, Miles Lanham; and his step-siblings, Josephine and Ryan Lockwood. He also leaves behind his grandfathers, Gene (Edward) Lanham and Tim Murphy; several aunts, uncles, and cousins, many of whom looked up to him as a role model, and countless friends who will miss him deeply.
A visitation will be held at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory, 900 Old Hartford Rd., Owensboro, KY 42303, on Friday, March 13, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A Celebration of Life will follow immediately afterward. All who knew and loved Brody are welcome to attend and share memories of him, something he would have truly loved.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made by planting a tree in Brody’s honor through Bernheim Forest at https://bernheim.org/giving/memorials/. Brody loved the outdoors, and this tribute reflects the spirit of the places he enjoyed most.
