Brenda Louise Sparks

Brenda L. Sparks, 68, of Utica went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 19, 2025, under the care of Hospice and Palliative Care of W. Kentucky. The Daviess County native was born March 8, 1957, to the late Cecil and Louise Jackson. Brenda graduated from Daviess County High School with the class of 1975. She was a devoted wife that loved crafting, sewing, and gardening.

In addition to her parents, Brenda was also preceded in death by her sister, Connie Hust.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 50 years, Ed Sparks who claimed she was the best cook in the family; her siblings, Alice Dycus, Gary (Pam) Jackson, and Karen Jackson; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. A private burial will be in Owensboro Memorial Gardens.
