Brenda Faye Kennedy

Brenda Faye Kennedy, 63, of Glenville, died on October 15, 2014. She was born on September 11, 1951, in Manila, AR, to the late John W. and Irene Moyer Spurlock. Brenda was of the Methodist Faith, was a Social Worker at GRADD, and enjoyed horseback riding and fishing. Brenda loved life and found her greatest joy spending time with her family and taking care of her grandchildren.

Brenda was also preceded in death by her brother, John A. Spurlock and two grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband 19 years, Harlan T. Kennedy, Jr. ; daughters, Amelia Storm of McLean County and Jessica Slack of Muhlenberg County; step-sons, Robert Kennedy of Beaver Dam, Reggie Kennedy of Houston, TX and Shane Kennedy of Hartford; 13 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brothers, William A. Spurlock of Huntingburg, IN. and Stephen D. Spurlock of Ridgefarm, IL.; and sister Lynda K. Robbins of Brazil, IN.

Service will be private.
