Brenda Corley Hardesty

Brenda Corley Hardesty, 78, of Owensboro, passed away on June 11, 2024, to be with the Lord. Born in Owensboro on June 21, 1945, to the late William and Eunice Johnson Corley, Brenda graduated from Owensboro Catholic High School, earned a degree from Owensboro Business College, and worked at Cardinal Federal Bank. Family was her greatest priority, and she was deeply involved in her children's lives, always ready to do anything for them. Brenda was an avid reader of mystery novels, particularly those by James Patterson, and enjoyed crime dramas. She cherished family vacations to Disney and had a special love for animals, especially dogs.

 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, George Emil Hardesty. 

 Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Timothy Scott Hardesty (Melissa), Cathy Hardesty, and Bob Hardesty; granddaughter, Amanda Hardesty Webb (Jeremy); and great-grandson, Parker Graham Webb.

 The funeral Mass for Brenda will be 12:00 on Monday, June 17, 2024, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, with visitation there from 10:00 until 12:00. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
