Brenda Sue Charlton

Brenda Sue Charlton, 54, of Owensboro died Thursday, December 11, 2003 at the Owensboro Medical Health System. The Murray, KY native was secretary at the Daviess County Board of Education and had worked at Burns Elementary for 13 years previously. She was a member of the Wesleyan Heights United Methodist Church where she was very active in church activities. She loved taking part in school activities; loved to shop; and spend time with family and friends. She was a very special Meme to her grandchildren. Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Euin and Mozelle Brown Jones of Murray, KY.

She is survived by two daughters, Ashley Charlton of Lexington and Stacy (and Reggie) Wilson of Owensboro; two grandchildren, Kelsey and Ben Luttrell of Owensboro; a brother, Brownie (and Brenda) Jones of Murray; a niece, Amy (and Gary) Roberson of Murray; and her former husband, Mike Charlton of Owensboro.

Funeral services are 2 P.M. Sunday at Glenn Funeral Home with burial in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 1-6 P.M. on Saturday and after 12 Noon on Sunday.
