Brenda Joyce Berry

Brenda J. Sumner Berry, 62, of Utica, passed away on Sunday, February 3, 2013 at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born August 12, 1950 in Muhlenburg Co., KY. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed playing bingo, camping, and fishing. She was preceded in death by her father, Layton Sumner, her stepfather, Stoy Butler on January 18, 2010, a son, Frankie Lestage in 2003, and a brother, Bob Sumner.

Surviving are her husband of 33 years, Bill Berry, three sons, Tracy (Michele) VanSickle of Virginia, Tony (Samantha) VanSickle of Owensboro, and Randall VanSickle of Owensboro, her mother, Wanda Butler of Owensboro, 11 grandchildren, one great grandchild, a sister, Patricia (Ceaser) Duarte of Hartford, two brothers, Layton (Beverly) Sumner and Mike Sumner, all of Central City, and three aunts, Mary Russell of Boonville, IN, Ruth Morrow of Madisonville, and Jean Helsey of Bremen.

Services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 6 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with burial following in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday and after 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
