Brad Oost

Brad Oost, 57, of Owensboro, passed away August 19, 2015 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born April 16, 1958 in Kansas City, MO to the late Reubin Clester Oost and Della Clymer Oost. Brad worked as a Human Resources Coordinator at Alcoa where he was employed for the last 26 years. Brad was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy and went on several mission trips. He enjoyed collecting Owensboro memorabilia especially post cards. He loved to travel and went scuba diving in Australia, as well as watching TV and movies and researching genealogy.

Brad was also preceded in death by his brother, Richard Oost in 2014 and nephew, Aaron Oost in 2005.

He is survived by his mother, Della Oost of Owensboro; his partner of 26 years, Ron Hardesty of Owensboro; four nephews and niece as well as eleven great nieces and nephews and many close friends.

A 10 AM funeral service will be held this Saturday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with interment at Brushy Fork Cemetery. Visitation is on Friday from 5 to 7 PM and after 9 AM Saturday at the funeral home.
