Bonnie Sue Reynolds

Bonnie Sue Reynolds, 73, of Owensboro, passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born in Ohio County, Kentucky to the late Wilbur and Gladys Newton Rice.

Mrs. Reynolds was primarily a loving wife, mother and grandmother “MiMi” who loved spending time with family. She had also worked in healthcare, including eight years in the infirmary at Mt. Saint Joseph. She was of the Baptist faith.

Bonnie was a very kind person who enjoyed socializing and dancing. She will be dearly missed by many.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years and love of her life, James Buel Reynolds, Sr. in 2025; her stepmother, who raised her, Ruth Rice; sister, Rosie Starks; brothers, Billy, Bobby, Jimmy, Roger, Jesse and Arthur Rice; and stepsisters, Brenda and Frances.

Bonnie is survived by children, Jennifer Howard (Todd), Missy Keiser (Chris), Jamie Sheriff (Victor), James B. Reynolds, Jr. (Holly) and Steve Simmons; 14 grandchildren (and their spouses); many great-grandchildren; a brother, Wilbur Raymond Rice (Barbara) of Philpot; sisters-in-law, Carol and Debbie; and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be at 4:00 PM, Friday, January 16 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory where visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until the time of service.
