Bonnie M. Rager Hamilton, 84, of Owensboro, died Tuesday, July 28, 2009, at Hillcrest Healthcare Center. She was born July 20, 1925 to the late Hugh and Lucy Henson Rager in Muhlenberg County. She retired from General Electric after 38 years of service and was a member of Eaton Memorial Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, watching UK basketball and girls softball. She and her husband have been partners for life!
She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Rager.
Survivors include her husband of 68 years, William Hamilton; her sons, David Hamilton and his wife, Lou, Daniel Hamilton and his wife, Judy, all of Owensboro; four grandchildren, Julia (Bryan) Smith, Jon (Jenny) Hamilton, Kimberly (Tim) Millay, and Daniel Hamilton; two step-granddaughters; four great-grandchildren and one step-great-granddaughter; several cousins, nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
Services will be 1:00 PM Friday at Glenn Funeral Home with burial in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
