Bonnie Jean Embry

Bonnie Jean Embry, 62, of Owensboro, passed away on Friday, May 10, 2013 at her home. She was born on June 29, 1950 in Wakefield, Michigan to the late John Steven and Vivian Taylor Plohocky. Bonnie was of the Baptist faith and was retired from Owensboro Medical Health System. She was an avid U. K. basketball fan, enjoyed working crossword puzzle books, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She cherished very much her cat, "Sunshine" and her pitbull "Mimi". She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Lee Embry on July 6, 1993.

Surviving are two sons, Harold J. McLevain, Jr. and wife Lisa and Christopher M. McLevain, two daughters, Tammy Ann Moorman and husband James and Mary Ann McLevain, all of Owensboro, 11 grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and a brother, Richard G. Bailey of Owensboro.

Services will be 2:30 P.M. Monday, May 13 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with burial following in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 10:00 A.M. Monday at the funeral home.
