Bobby Joe Roberts

Bobby Joe Roberts, 69, of Owensboro, passed away October 30, 2023.  He was born in Butler Co., Ky on May 18, 1954, to the late James and Lottie Mae Roberts.  Bobby worked as a concrete finisher for Hayden Construction for many years before he retired.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and John Wayne, but most of all, loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.  Bobby was also preceded in death by his siblings, Joyce Brown, Geraldean Cox, Brenda Martin, Jonell Ellis, Kim Sosh, and Homer Roberts.

Bobby is survived by his wife, Sharon Gail Roberts; children, Hope Veinot, Betty Jo (Michael) Denning, Bobby (Kelsey) Roberts, Robert (Joni) Turner, and Chris Turner; nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and one on the way; siblings, Buck (Elaine) Roberts, Tony (Melinda) Roberts, Bimmie (Stacy) Roberts, Mae (Roy) Dennison, Jean (Ray) Carden, Linda Haire, Mary Roberts, and Joanne Jeannette, along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
