Bobby Gene Mcdaniel

Bobby Gene McDaniel, 70, of Owensboro, died August 25, 2005 at his home. He was born on January 15, 1935 in Daviess Co. to the late Oscar and Anna Bivens McDaniel. He was a member of Saints Joseph and Paul Catholic Church, a Korean War Veteran, a retired night watchman, and a member of DAV. He enjoyed playing bingo and cards.

He was preceded in by six brothers and one sister.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Norma; one son, Shane McDaniel (and Cindy) of Utica; two daughters, Marilyn Leslie (and Greg) and Holly Weeks (and Rory) all of Owensboro; eight grandchildren, Kaley and Paige McDaniel of Utica, Ricky and Courtney Russelburg of Owensboro, Kelsey, Emily and Lindsey Leslie of Owensboro, and Kaitlyn Leslie of Calhoun; one brother, Malcolm McDaniel of Rochester, MN, one sister, Anna Feldman of Owensboro, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Monday, August 29, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at Saints Joseph and Paul Catholic Church. Visitation will be Sunday, August 28, 2005 from 2:00 8:00 p.m. at Glenn Funeral Home and from 9:00 a.m. until time of the funeral on Monday. Prayers will be at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.

Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to Hospice.
