Bobby Gene Bartlett

Bobby Gene Bartlett, 70, of 3120 South Daviess Street, Owensboro, died Friday, April 21, 2006 at Owensboro Medical Health System. He was a native of Whitesville, born to the late Ollie and Ines (Helm) Bartlett. Mr. Bartlett was a retired co-owner of Motor and Electric Co. He enjoyed watching U.K. basketball games and sports, and loved fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Dorothy Johnson Bartlett, two daughters, Sheila Downing of Owensboro, and Brenda Igleheart and husband Donald of Sacramento, grandchildren, Lacey Curry, Brett Downing, Chase Downing, Madison, Bailey, and Cole Igleheart, brothers J.Mac Bartlett and Jackie Bartlett both of Owensboro, and Gary Bartlett of San Diego, CA., and sisters Virginia Belamy of Alabama, and Deanie Belamy of Owensboro.
Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Monday, April 24, 2006 at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. and after 9 a.m. Monday.
