Billy Wayne Wilson, 58, of Owensboro passed away Sunday, June 18, 2006 at the Owensboro Medical Health System. Born July 11, 1947, Mr. Wilson was the son of the late Roy C. and Emma Louise Magenhamier Wilson. He was of the Baptist faith and loved Elvis music; karaoke; working with children at the skating rink and studying the Bible. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Toby Dukes.
He is survived by brothers, Jim (and his wife Ruth) Wilson and Ronnie (and his wife Peggy) Wilson of Owensboro; half-brother, Jack Wilson of Owensboro; half-sister, Collene Rouse of Owensboro; a special friend, Becky; and several nieces and nephews.
Services are 2:30 P.M. Thursday, June 22, 2006 at Christ Chapel, Owensboro Memorial Gardens. There will be no visitation. Glenn Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
