Billy L. Wahl

Billy L. Wahl, 77, of Owensboro, died Tuesday, October 11, 2006 at Owensboro Medical Health System. Born in Owensboro, the son of the late J.B. and Emma Powell Wahl, he retired from Texas Gas after 42 years as a project engineer. Mr. Wahl was an active and involved member of Century Christian Church. He was preceded in death in 1969 by his first wife, Sherlene Wahl.

Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Patricia Bell Wahl; his sons, Roger Wahl and his wife Glenda of Bowling Green, and Steve Wahl of Louisville; his grandchildren, Nikki Wahl Seto of Louisville, Jonathan Wahl of Owensboro, and Shane Wahl and Jackie Wahl, both of Bowling Green; and his half sister, Bonnie Poole of Lake Worth, Florida.

Services, officiated by the Rev. James Westmoreland, are at 1:00 p.m. Friday at Glenn Funeral Home, where visitation will be from 3:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday and after 11:00 a.m. Friday. Burial will be in Owensboro Memorial Gardens.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Century Christian Church or the Owensboro-Daviess County Humane Society.
