Billy T. Traywick, 68, of 2539 Seminole Place, Owensboro, died Thursday, April 15, 2004, at his home. He was born July 4, 1935, in McKenzie, TN. He was a retired Army Master Sgt., worked for Colonial Bakery for several years, and was a self employed electrician, was a member of the masonic lodge, loved reading and making friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Hazel Thompson Traywick, and a sister, Barbara Glenn Traywick.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Martha Marty Traywick of Owensboro; two daughters, Misty and David Keller of Utica, Terri Lynne Traywick of Owensboro; two grandchildren, Amber and David Gish, and Kyle Pearl, both of Owensboro; three step-grandchildren, Karissa Costello, Andrew and Kevin Keller, all of Owensboro; four great-grandchildren, Dylan, Maegan and Evan Gish, and Eestan Costello; one sister, Janice Whitson of Valrico, FL; and her son, Robert Inman; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bill and Jenny Pyland of Owensboro, and their children.
Services will be 4:00 PM Saturday, April 17, 2004, at Glenn Funeral Home. Visitation will be 2:00 until 4:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be private. Military honors will be provided at the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice Association, 723 Harvard Drive, Owensboro, KY.
