Billy Joe Robertson

Billy Joe Robertson, Sr., 62, of Owensboro, died Thursday, April 26, 2001 at the Owensboro Mercy Health System. The Daviess County native retired as a machine operator from George S. Carrington, Inc. in Henderson. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed UK basketball and fishing and was a Marine Corps veteran.

He is survived by a son, Billy Joe Robertson, Jr. of Owensboro; a daughter, Misty Bristow of Owensboro; eight grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; three great grandchildren; six brothers, David Robertson, Darrell Robertson, Bobby Robertson, Charles Robertson, and Marvin Robertson all of Owensboro, and Elmer Robertson of Las Vegas, NV; and one sister, Sally Mae Dykes of San Bernadino,
CA.

Funeral services are 2:30 P.M., Saturday, April 28, 2001 at the Glenn Funeral Home in Owensboro with burial at Owensboro Memorial Gardens in the Field of Honor. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 A.M. to 8 P.M. Friday, April 27 and after 9 A.M., Saturday, April 28.
