Billy G. Lee

Billy G. Lee, 80, of 3068 Steeplechase, Owensboro, died Wednesday, as a result of a motorcycle accident. He was born August 1, 1927 to the late Sylvan and Cora Fulkerson Lee in Daviess County. He was a member of Owensboro Christian Church, retired Navy Veteran and retired from Green River Steel. He was a member and Past Master of the Ensor Masonic Lodge #729, and Eastern Star Goel #104. He was Past Illustrious Master of the Owensboro Council #34, Past High Priest of Joe Davis Chapter #32 Royal Arc Mason, Past Commander of Owensboro Commandery #15 Knights Templar, Deputy Grand Master of District 7, and Past Worthy Patron of the Eastern Star. He enjoyed playing guitar, woodworking, fishing and watching NASCAR.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Rose Lee; his sons, Dwight Lee and his wife, Terrie of Lewisport, Ron Lee and his wife, Kim of Lexington, his daughter, B.K. Sicard and her husband, Dan of St. Paul, MN; six grandchildren, Kelly Snyder and her husband, Joey, Jenny Lee, Sarah Sicard, Katie Lee, Emily Lee and Sam Sicard, one step-granddaughter, Alison Foreman; three great-grandchildren, Austin Brown, Aly Snyder and Noah Snyder; two brothers, Robert Lee and his wife, Brenda, and Gary Lee, all of Owensboro.

Services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, at Glenn Funeral Home with burial in Owensboro Memorial Gardens with Military Honors. Visitation will be 4:00 until 8:00 PM Friday and after 8:30 AM on Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Owensboro Christian Church, 2818 New Hartford Road, Owensboro, KY.
