Billy Gene Griffin

Billy Gene Griffin, 61, of 1829 Triplett St., Owensboro, died Sunday, October 6, 2002 at his residence. The Ohio County native was a cab driver with Veteran's and Yellow Cab Comapanys for 26 years; was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Donita Griffin in 1994.

He is survived by his mother, Deloris Daffron of Owensboro; two daughters, Stacy Fields of Owensboro and Malia Dawn Young of Owensboro; a step-son, Timothy Glenn Donahue of Owensboro; two brothers, Junior Kirk of Owensboro; and several nieces and nephews and cousins and 1 aunt.

Funeral services are 1 P.M. Wednesday at the St Ann Chapel, Resurrection Cemetery. Friends may call at the Glenn Funeral Home from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M.
