Billy F. English

Billy F. English, 81, of Owensboro, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2013 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born on July 6, 1931 in Blue Mountain, AL to the late Fred D. and Nancy Hayes English. Billy was a member of Wing Ave. Baptist Church and had retired from the General Electric Co. after 36 years. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, and bowling, having bowled in the General Electric League for years. He also was a member of the International Order of Oddfellows Lodage #132 and loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his stepdaughter, Janice Faye Nelson, a grandson, Michael Stasaitis in 2000, and his brothers, Danny H. English and Hugh G. "Beau" English.

Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Mildred English, his sons, Billy Wayne English and wife Trish of Morehead and Terry Lee Baideme and wife Christina of Wauchula, FL, a daughter, Marla Ann Kelly and husband Harry, of Hattiesburg, Miss., 10 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.

Services will be 12 Noon Thursday, April 4, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with entombment following at Owensboro Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday and after 10:00 A.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
