Bill McElwain

Bill McElwain Sr., 61, of 1423 Haynes Avenue, Owensboro, died Friday, June 20, 2008 at his home. He was born in Belton, Kentucky to the late Henry and Margaret (Stinson) McElwain. He liked to go to flea markets and was dealer of glassware and knives.

His wife Mary and a daughter Tamatha Miller preceded him in death.

He is survived by a son; Billy McElwain Jr. and wife Karen of Owensboro, grandchildren; Kristi and Shawn McElwain of Owensboro, brothers; Darrell McElwain and wife Sharon, and Gary McElwain and wife Connie both of Owensboro and sisters; Janie West of Hartford and Louise Wilson of Stevens City, Virginia, a niece Carman Fleming and great-nephew Hunter Fleming of Owensboro, and several other nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 26, 2008 in Christ Chapel, Owensboro Memorial Gardens with entombment following. There will be no visitation. Online condolences may be expressed at www.glennfuneralhome.com.
