Bill Lanham

Bill Lanham, 55, a loving father and husband, of Norcross, GA, formerly of Knottsville, died Saturday, December 23, 2006, at home. He was employed as manager of maintenance over several physicians office buildings. He was previously employed by Green River Steel for several years. He was a devoted husband and a wonderful father (Mr. Mom) and a big NASCAR fan.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph (Buck) Lanham in 1991 and his brother, Jerry Lanham in 1999, his brother-in-law, James (Smokey) Gilles in 1996.

He is survived by his wife, Renee Lanham; daughters, Amber and Deanna Lanham, both at home; mother, Sue Lanham, sisters, Connie Case and her husband, Mike, Janice Gilles; brothers, Jim and Dennie Lanham, all of Owensboro, several nieces and nephews and other family members to numerous to mention.

Services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 27, 2006, at Mary Our Queen Catholic Church in Norcross, with Father David Dye officiating. Interment will be in Peachtree Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 PM with a Rosary at 8:00 PM at A. S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home in Decatur, GA.
