Bill A. Guinn

Bill Guinn, 71, of Owensboro passed away Monday, June 22, 2009 at his home. Born March 21, 1938 in Union County, IL, he was the son of the late Thomas Elmer and Mary Margaret Gobel Guinn; was retired from the State of Illinois where he worked for the Chicago Read Mental Health Center for 37 years; and was a veteran of the United States Navy. Mr. Guinn enjoyed fishing, camping and listening to country music.

Mr. Guinn is survived by daughters, Mary Light of Masonville, Anna Lopez and Sandra Guinn of Owensboro, and Linda Zayas and Susan Guinn of Chicago; 13 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Thomas Guinn of Anna, IL; and a sister, Mary Lou Johnson of Park Falls, WI.

Services are 10a.m. Friday, June 26, 2009 at Glenn Funeral Home followed by burial in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday and after 9 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
