Beverly Joyce Reed

Beverly Joyce Reed, 83, of Owensboro passed away Saturday, April 23, 2017 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Mrs. Reed was born October 6, 1933 in McLean County to the late Clement Ratliff and Buelah Lee Wilson Ratliff. She was a devoted life member of Immanuel Baptist where she taught Sunday School, played the piano, and sang in the choir. Mrs. Reed was also active in other ministries all over Owensboro.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 64 years, James L. Reed of Owensboro; daughter, Michelle Reed of Owensboro; sisters, Shirley Hallen of Chicago, Gail Nelson, and Marilyn Young and husband Jim both of Owensboro; several nieces and nephews.

The service will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, April 26 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Bro. Jerry Lambrich will be officiating assisted by Bro. Eugene Howard. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM and Wednesday after 9:00 at the funeral home.
