Beulah Templeton

March 29, 1931 — July 26, 2006

Beulah Boots Templeton, 75, of Tornado, WV, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, July 26, 2006 at Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston, WV after a short illness. Boots was a devoted wife, caring mother, loving mother-in-law, mentor and role model. Three of her sons and two grandsons are in the ministry. She was a homemaker and a former employee of McClung and Morgan, in St. Albans, WV. She was a member of Gateway Church of Christ in St. Albans for 48 years where she taught Sunday School and led ladies groups and was a camp counselor. She also spoke at various ladies meetings and conferences. Her love for the Lord radiated through her beautiful smile and everyone at the church referred to her as mawmaw Bootsie.

She was preceded in death by her parents Friel and Hazel Hager ODell and three sisters and seven brothers.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Glenn Templeton; sons and daughters-in-law, Myke and Kathy Templeton of Owensboro, KY, Gary and Chelly Templeton of Del-Ray, FL, Dave and Sharon Templeton of Tornado, WV, Bruce and Connie Templeton of Huntington Beach, CA, and Jay and Dawn Templeton of Tornado, WV; grandchildren, Tricia Ahart, Matt, Chris, Gary, Jonathan, Natalie, Brian, Kara, Curtis, Michelle, Mara, and Eric; great-grandchildren, Katelyn, Ethan, Haley, and Lexi.

Services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, July 30, 2006 at Gateway Church of Christ in St. Albans, with Pastor David Stauffer officiating. Entombment will be in Cunningham Memorial Park in St. Albans, WV. Friends may call from 6:00 until 9:00 PM Saturday at the Bartlett-Chapman Funeral Home in St. Albans.
