Beulah "Be Be" Adkins, 57, of Owensboro went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 24, 2010. Born in Daviess County on February 8, 1953, she was the daughter of the late, Virginia Mae Carter; was a homemaker, and loved spending time with her family and caring for children.
She is survived by her daughter, April Adkins of Owensboro; her friend Neal Adkins of Owensboro; brothers, Bill (Kay) Carter, Joey Mincey and Johnny Mincey all of Owensboro; a sister, Roberta Grider of Owensboro; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Services are 5 p.m. Monday, June 28, 2010 in the Chapel of Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory where there will be visitation from 3-5 p.m. preceding the service.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Hospice of Western Kentucky to whom the family extends special thanks for their kindness and care during Be Be's illness.
