Betty Ann Kirkpatrick Short

Betty Ann Kirkpatrick Short, 64, of Owensboro, died Sunday, April 10, 2005 at the Owensboro medical Health System. Born July 21, 1940 in Mt. Vernon, IN, Mrs. Short was the Office Manager for Marc Bosley Insurance Agency. She was a member of the Owensboro Christian Church and enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert E. Kirkpatrick, Sr. in 1997, a step-son, Jeff Short, and a brother, Raymond Buddy Cox.

She is survived by her husband of six years, L.V. Short; three sons and daughters-in-law, Robert E. and Barbara Kirkpatrick, Jr. of Poseyville, IN, Steven R. and Tammy Kirkpatrick of Hawesville, and Timothy and Tonya Kirkpatrick of Owensboro; a step-son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Ann Short of Niles, MI ; and a step-daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Bubba McMasters of Lawrenceburg, TN; five grandchildren, Robert Kirkpatrick III, Megan Kirkpatrick, Bryce Kirkpatrick, Brittany Kirkpatrick, and Josh Kirkpatrick; four step-grandchildren, Jason Short, Zach McMasters, Christina Short, and Vanessa Short; and four step-great-grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law, Kenny and Glendis Cox of Evansville; and a sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Jerry Heeley of Mt. Vernon, IN.

Funeral services are 1 P.M. Wednesday, April 13, 2005 at Glenn Funeral Home with burial in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 3-8 P.M. on Tuesday and after 9 A.M. on Wednesday.
