Betty Jean Rutherford

Betty Jean Rutherford, 70, of Owensboro, died Tuesday, September 05, 2006, at Bon Harbor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She was born April 19, 1936 to the late Otis and Goldie Milam Farmer in Daviess County. A member of Hall Street Baptist Church, she enjoyed shopping, country music and being with her children and grandchildren. She retired from OMICO Plastics after 25 years of service.

Survivors include her daughter, Vickie Fenwick of Owensboro, her sons, James A. Fenwick of Owensboro and Billy Rutherford, Sr. of Jamestown, CA; six grandchildren, Misty Fenwick, James E. Fenwick, Sr., and his fiancHelen, Matthew Fenwick, Hannah Fenwick, Billy Rutherford, Jr., and Aaron Johnson; one great grandchild, James E. Fenwick, Jr., a brother, James Farmer; several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 1:00 PM Thursday, at Glenn Funeral Home with burial in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00 until 8:00 PM Wednesday and after 10:00 AM Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 319 West 10th Street, Owensboro, KY, 42301.
