Betty Jean Redford

Betty Jean Redford, 76, of Owensboro, died Monday , October 22, 2007 at Harborside Nursing Home. The Highland, Illinois native was born to the late Arthur and Leta (Weber) Oestringer.
She retired as a clerk from K-mart, and was an excellent seamstress, and enjoyed gardening.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Omar L. Redford in 1977, and a daughter, Vickie Baker in 1989.
Survivors include a son; Dennis (Lisa) Redford and a daughter, Debbie Hayden of Calhoun, brothers; Carrol Ozzie Oestringer of Louisville, Ky., Donnie Oestringer, and Larry Oestringer, both of Highland, Illinois, and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 12:00 p.m. Thursday, October 25, 2007 at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Calhoun Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2 to 8 p.m. and after 10:00 a.m. Thursday. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Parkinsons Research at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.
