Betty Ann Lee

Betty Ann Lee, 66, of 3563 Bold Forbes Way, Owensboro, passed away on Friday, September 30, 2005 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. She was born in Union Co., Ky. to the late James & Sylvia Brown Lamb. She was a member of Owensboro Christian Church and had been a hairdresser. She was a volunteer with the Youth Bowling League at Bowlodrome and loved bowling, playing cards, and spending time with her grandson, Jared Payne. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Cindy Lee Payne in 1999 and a sister, Margaret Maxwell in 2003.

Surviving is her husband of 46 years, Gary D. Lee, a son, Sylvan Lee of Utica, a daughter & her husband, Vicki & Ken Ashworth of Philpot, a sister & her husband, Jane & Welby Sellers of Eddyville, Ky., one grandchild, Jared Payne, and several nieces & nephews and two Aunts.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. Monday, October 3, at the Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with entombment following in Owensboro Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 2:00-6:00 P.M. Sunday and after 8:30 A.M. Monday at the funeral home.
