Betty Jo Knight

Betty Jo Knight, 70, of Kevil, KY, formerly of Owensboro, died Sunday, November 23, 2008, at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah. She was born February 23, 1938 to the late S. O. and Susanna Clymer Dobbs in Armorel, AR. She was a retired bookkeeper, a member of Blandville Baptist Church, and a former member of Owensboro Christian Church. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, gardening and taking care of her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, S. O. Dobbs, Jr.

Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Tom Knight; her son, Ken Knight and his wife, Tamara of Owensboro, her daughters, Kathy Owens and her husband, John of Moultrie, GA, and Amy Bell and her husband, Brad of Kevil; nine grandchildren, Caitlin, Elizabeth and Tom Woods, Aaron Bell, Brooklyn Knight, Austin Bell, Kendyl Knight, Emma Grace Bell and Sydney Bell; two sisters, Inez Bynum of Jonesboro, AR, and Mary Abbott of Overton, NV.

Services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, at Glenn Funeral Home with burial in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
