Betty Edwards

Betty Edwards, 80, of Lewisport, passed away march 22, 2015. She was born August 17, 1934, to the late Hardin and Bertha Benningfield. Betty was a loving, caring, and compassionate mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. It was her nature to put others before herself, as she did on many occasions. Betty also enjoyed spending time gardening, canning, or with her husband of 60 years, Bob.

Betty was preceded in death by three brothers; Carter Benningfield, Kerney Benningfield, and W.N. Benningfield.

She is survived by her husband, Bob Edwards; daughter, Pam Yeager (Clifford); sons, Robby Edwards (Michelle) and Michael Edwards (Susan); grandchildren, Mat Edwards (Keeley), Andrew Edwards (Rachel), Rachel Edwards, David Edwards (Emily), April McLimore, Eddie McLimore Jr., Amanda Morley (Michael), and Chris Yeager; 15 great-grandchildren, and a sister, Susie Miller.

Services will be 10AM Wednesday March 23, 2015 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be 4-7PM Tuesday and 8:30 until the time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Iron Ore Hill Cemetery.
