Betty Sue Davis

Betty Sue Davis, 84, of Owensboro, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born in McLean County, Kentucky to the late George L. and Mabel Murphy Davis.
Betty retired after more than thirty years of service at the Owensboro Board of Education. She was of the General Baptist faith, an Honorable Kentucky Colonel and active with the General Shelby Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
She was preceded in death by a brother, John William "Bill" Davis.
The service will be 2 PM Wednesday, with visitation after 1 PM, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory
Burial will be at Pleasant Hope Cemetery in McLean County.
