Betty L. Congrove

Betty Congrove, 71, of 4008 Creekside Court, Owensboro, died Thursday, November 1, 2001, at Owensboro Mercy Health System. She was born June 11, 1930 in Chicago, IL the daughter of the late Shirley Carl and Dana Mae Large Jones. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Darlene Betty Congrove and a great-grandchild, Dakota Alfred.

Mrs. Congrove retired from the Buckhorn Co., was a Methodist and enjoyed sewing.

Survivors include two sons, Dennis Congrove of Monteagle, TN and Carl Congrove of Dawson Springs; a daughter, Audrey Selby of Owensboro; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, November 3, 2001 at Dawson Springs General Baptist Church. Burial will be in Illinois. Her family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Dawson Springs General Baptist Church.
