Betty Lou Clements

Betty Lou Boo-Boo Clements, 79, of Owensboro, died Tuesday, January 30, 2007, at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born April 20, 1927 to the late Henry and Elsie Weddington Wahler in Daviess County. She was a member of First Assembly of God and was devoted to and loved the Lord Jesus Christ with all her heart. She deeply loved her church, where she was active in the womens ministry and loved her family also. She was well loved as a waitress at the Executive Inn for many years and retired from there in 1994. She liked to read her Bible, cook and work on the computer.

She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Michael W. Clements; her pet dog, L-ll Bit; a brother, George Wahler of Owensboro; a sister, Loretta Czaick of Stegek, IL; special nieces and nephews, Kristie Shartung, Brandy Pittman, Jan Payne, Kathleen Allen, Greg Allen and Jason Shartung; special friends, Mary Glover, Diane Eisenmenger and Mable McDaniel; sister-in-laws, Jeannie Allen, Linda Ray and Cindy Payne; brother-in-laws, Bobby Clements and Paul Clements, Sr.; two favorite pastors, Rev. Tim Trout and Rev. Emil Herzog.

Services will be 10:00 AM Friday, at First Assembly of God Church, with burial in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 until 8:00 PM Thursday at Glenn Funeral Home with visitation Friday at the church after 9:00 AM.
