Betty Jean Baker, 74, of 1120 Jackson Street, died Tuesday, December 13, 2005 at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was a homemaker, and had formerly worked at National Linen Service. She enjoyed flower gardening, and loved dancing and Elvis Presleys music. She was preceded in death by her second husband, Theodore Baker.
She attended Hall Street Baptist Church
. She is survived by her first husband, Buster Ray Brown of Owensboro, sons, Larry Brown and David Allen Brown of Owensboro, Michael Eugene Brown of Marion, Ky., Gene Ray Brown of Cadiz, Ky ,Ken Sanson of Paris, Va., daughters, Barbara Jean Belson , and Linda Sue Tanner both of Dallas, Tx., and Sandra Claycomb of Owensboro, seventeen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, December 16th at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be Thursday from 3 to 8 p.m., and after 8:30 a.m. Friday. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Online expressions of sympathy may be left at www.glennfuneralhome.com.
