Bettie G. Lyons

October 10, 1926 — January 30, 2013

Bettie G. Lyons, 86, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on January 30, 2013. She was the daughter of the late Lafe and Jessie B. Stephens of Pellville, KY. Bettie was preceded in death by the love of her life, Charles T. Lyons, her daughter Patricia Wettstain, three brothers Kent, Ray, and Kirtley Stephens, one sister-in- law Dude Stephens.
Bettie loved helping others and caring for children. She was retired from OMHS. She was a member of First Baptist Church and the Friendship Class for many years.

Bettie is survived by one daughter, Sandy ( Virgil) Barker of Owensboro. She is also survived by her son-in-law, Jimmy Wettstain, of Hawesville, 5 grandchildren Barbara (Tim) Powers of Lewisport, Sherrill ( Jamie) Wettstain and Jeff Wettstain of Hawesville, Gayle ( Brian) Schneider of Owensboro, Dale Barker of Rochester, MN., and 6 great - grandchildren, Colton Powers, Trent, Kaylen, Jacob, Evan and Ashley Wettstain. Also surviving is one brother Perry ( Phyllis) Stephens of Pellville, and 3 sister's in- law Uldene, Elizabeth, and Mae Stephens.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00p.m on Saturday at Pellville Baptist Church with interment to follow at Pellville Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory and from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Church.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Gideons International ( East Camp), First Baptist Church Benevolence Fund, or the Pellville Cemetery Fund.
