Bertha Jarvis Bryant

Ms. Bertha Jarvis Bryant, age 91 of Owensboro, passed away on September 16, 2015 at Riverside Care and Rehab center. She was born on June 30, 1924 in Owensboro to the late Roy and Mary Jarvis.

Ms. Bryant was a member of Owensboro Christian Church.

Ms. Bryant was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Dozier Bryant in 1998; also sisters: Mable Poole, Stella Jarvis, and Mary Jarvis; brothers: Claudie Jarvis, Hillary Jarvis and Tommy Jarvis.

Ms. Bryant is survived by her daughters: Brenda (Daniel) Lawrence of Owensboro, Rita Fitch of Owensboro; grandchildren: Kevin (Tracy) Fitch of Smyrna GA, Brian Fitch of Owensboro and John Fitch of Owensboro; great grandchild: Bella Fitch of Owensboro; nephews: Charles Jarvis, Kenny Knight, Tommy Jarvis, David Allen Jarvis; great niece, Debbie Jarvis.

Funeral services will be Monday September 21, 2015 at 2pm at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Pastor Donnie Thomas officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 12pm until time of service, with entombment at Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.
