Bert Boyd Bloomer, 62, of Owensboro, died February 14, 2015 at the Heartford House in Owensboro. He was born to the late Bert and Laura Bloomer
Bert was a driven and very unique individual.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Gail Bloomer and two brothers, Bruce and Bart Bloomer.
He is survived by; a daughter, Brenna Hurm (Chris); a son, Brandon Bloomer (Brandie); grandchildren, Brenden and Breyden Bloomer, Melissa, Cody and Isabella Hurm and Chelsey Chaney; great grandchildren, Raylee and Kaison Cline and Owen Chaney; a brother, Brent Bloomer; sister-in-laws, Robin Drake (Matt) and Debbie Bloomer; nieces, Belinda Gilmore, Brende Lott and Berrie Clark Samantha Bourassa; nephews, Brian Bloomer and Adam Coomes; and several great nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 7 PM on Thursday, February 19th, 2015 at Maceo Baptist Church. Friends may visit after 5 PM on Thursday at the church.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Bert's family.
